What's in the system

  • Yamato PPC-200W-II scale (standard)
  • Optional scales: Yamato DP-6700-II or DP-6900

  • Yamato PPC-200W-II scale

    A compact bench scale that feeds the weight straight to the printer. IP65, washdown capable on battery power only. Larger DP-6700-II and DP-6900 platform scales are optional.

  • Solo printer

    A stand-alone thermal label printer with its own screen.

  • Keypad

    Operators call up a product by number. There's little to learn and little to get wrong.

  • LabelDirect software

    Connect a computer when you want to add a product or change a label, then unplug it and go back to work.

Who it's for

  • Custom-exempt and state-inspected plants, butcher shops and lockers that want printed weight and price labels without a full PC system.
  • Operations with a short product list and one or two people at the wrap table.
  • Tight spaces. The whole system fits on a small counter.
  • Anyone still hand-writing or ink-stamping packages.

Economarker and TemPac

Economarker comes from EconOmarker of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a company owned for many years by Mark Wiltshire. When Mark retired in December 2021, TemPac acquired the business. The two companies had served the same industry side by side, and their owners were long-time friends.
